December 1st Study Abroad DEADLINE

 

DECEMBER 1st DEADLINE

The deadline for Summer 2026 Faculty-led Programs is fast approaching! This includes Granada, Mexico City, Rome, and European Cultural Explorations.

 

Requirements:

  1. Study Abroad Advising is mandatory prior to submitting your application. If you were unable to attend an info session, check out our website for more opportunities to get advising! There will be one LAST info session for all Faculty-led programs on 11/24.
  2. Be sure to submit your complete program application on VIA by December 1st, 2025. 
  3. Make sure the scholarship form inside your application is also complete by December 1st. The form requires references, so make sure to start early to get these in on time.

Smith Library Center will close at 5 pm Tuesday, Nov. 25 per the university holiday calendar. It will remain closed until 5 pm Sunday, Nov. 30 when students will have swipe card only access until Monday morning.

Toxic Roots: Sexism in Our Society

Toxic Roots: Sexism in Our Society - A presentation about the historical roots of sexism and how it affects our society and schools as well as the legislation that has helped combat it.

PLEASE JOIN US: On December 1, from 2-4:45 pm, there will be a Creative Project Presentation in Olin 105 about sexism in today’s schools and society. The presentation will be given by Lydia Allen, Stella Ciaravino, Leslie Benitez, and Gilbert Anderson as part of Dr. Moore’s Schools, Society & Diversity class. The session will include strategies to help recognize and eliminate sexism and gender based violence in the media, schools, workplaces, and society.
